Thank you for your input and support of EBR Schools, and please continue to be a part of the conversation.

"Read Across America" and "Career Day" were celebrated on one big exciting day at Winbourne Elementary School. Kindergarten to third graders wore their Dr. Seuss hats and enjoyed hearing stories read by community volunteers. Fourth and fifth graders had the opportunity to learn about diverse careers from various professionals. Thanks to all the community volunteers who made this day truly memorable for our students.

EBR Schools is proposing turning Broadmoor Middle, which closed in 2019, into a "state-of-the-art" arena for e-sports programs and an athletic facility for elementary schools. The proposal goes before the School Board this month.

In celebration of Read Across America, students from Inspire Charter Academy are visiting the East Baton Rouge Parish libraries this week. Students are learning about the process of obtaining library cards and exploring the diverse range of programs available.
