Meeting Opening

Call to Order Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance

The meeting was called to order at 5:35 PM by School Board President Michael Gaudet.

The Invocation was led by School Board Member Mark Bellue, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by School Board Member David Tatman.

Roll Call

Members present: Mark Bellue, Tramelle Howard, Dawn Collins, Evelyn Ware-Jackson, Jill Dyason, Michael Gaudet, Connie Bernard, David Tatman

Others present were: Gwynn Shamlin Jr., General Counsel; Ben Necaise, Associate Superintendent; Taylor Gast, Director of Communications and Public Relations; Andrea O’Konski, Chief Officer for Accountability and Assessments; Amy Jones, Director-Management for Information Technology; and Sharmayne Rutledge, Executive Director for School Leadership

Items for Consideration

Superintendent Applicant Voting Procedure

Retroactively adopt the voting procedure used at the Regular Meeting of the Board on December 17, 2020, to narrow the selection of superintendent candidates.

Motion by Michael Gaudet, second by Jill Dyason.

Final Resolution: Motion Carries

Yea: Bellue, Howard, Collins, Ware-Jackson, Dyason, Gaudet, Bernard, Tatman

There being no further business, the Board adjourned by acclamation.
