Special Meeting Minutes

Thursday, April 7, 2022

Meeting Opening

The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by School Board President David Tatman.

The Invocation was led by School Board Member Connie Bernard and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by School Board Member David Tatman.

Members present were Mark Bellue, Tramelle Howard, Evelyn Ware-Jackson, Jill Dyason, Michael Gaudet, Connie Bernard, and David Tatman.

Dadrius Lanus and Dawn Collins came in after roll call.

Items for Consideration

Selection of a Map-Redistricting

Motion to add a presentation from Data Center to the agenda.

Motion by Evelyn Ware-Jackson, second by Tramelle Howard.

Final Resolution: Motion Fails

Yea: Howard, Collins, Ware-Jackson

Nay: Bellue, Dyason, Gaudet, Bernard, Tatman

Mark Bellue nominated plan SB Public Plan 22.

Tramelle Howard nominated plan Ware Collins Plan 1-11.

A motion was offered to close the nominations for the selection of maps.

Motion by Tramelle Howard, second by Michael Gaudet.

Motion Carries

Yea: Bellue, Lanus, Howard, Collins, Ware-Jackson, Dyason, Gaudet, Bernard, Tatman

The votes on the nominated maps were as follows:

SB Public Plan 22

Votes For: Bellue, Dyason, Gaudet, Bernard, Tatman

Ware Collins Plan 1-11

Votes For: Lanus, Howard, Collins, Ware-Jackson

SB Public Plan 22 was selected as the map for publication.

There being no further business, the Board adjourned by acclamation.
