A. Meeting Opening

1. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

The Invocation was led by Cliff Lewis and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Nathan Rust.

2. Call to Order and Roll Call

The Meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM by School Board President Carla Powell-Lewis.

Members present Mark Bellue, Dadrius Lanus, Carla Powell Lewis, Shashonnie Steward, Cliff Lewis, Nathan Rust, Michael Gaudet, Emily Chatelain, and Patrick Martin.

B. Items for Consideration

1. Superintendent Resignation

Motion to accept the resignation and approve the separation agreement of Superintendent Dr. Sito Narcisse.

Motion by Cliff Lewis, second by Patrick Martin.

Final Resolution: Motion Carries

Yea: Bellue, Powell-Lewis, Lewis, Rust, Chatelain, Martin

Nay: Lanus, Steward

Abstain: Gaudet

2. Interim Superintendent Appointment

Motion to appoint Adam Smith as the interim superintendent and approve the execution of a contract.

Motion by Patrick Martin, second by Cliff Lewis.

Substitute motion to appoint Adam Smith as the interim superintendent and approve the execution of a contract minus the language prohibiting application for the permanent position.

Motion by Dadrius Lanus, second by Mark Bellue.

Final Resolution: Motion Carries

Yea: Bellue, Lanus, Powell Lewis, Lewis, Rust, Gaudet, Chatelain, Martin

Not Present at Vote: Steward
