A. Meeting Opening

1. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance

The Invocation was led by School Board Member Emily Soulé, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by School Board Member Dadrius Lanus.

2. Call to Order and Roll Call

The meeting was called to order at 5:00 PM by School Board President Carla Powell-Lewis.

Members present were Mark Bellue, Dadrius Lanus, Carla Powell Lewis, Shashonnie Steward, Cliff Lewis, Nathan Rust, Michael Gaudet, Emily Soulé, and Patrick Martin.

B. Items for Consideration

1. Selection of The Superintendent

Motion to add interim Superintendent Adam Smith to the ballot as a finalist.

Motion by Dadrius Lanus, second by Cliff Lewis.

Final Resolution: Motion Fails

Yea: Lanus, Powell Lewis, Steward, Lewis

Nay: Bellue, Rust, Soulé, Martin

Abstain: Gaudet

Motion to defer the selection of Superintendent to a date not certain.

Motion by Dadrius Lanus, second by Shashonnie Steward.

Substitute motion to defer the selection of Superintendent to Monday, July 15th at 5:00 PM.

Motion by Patrick Martin, second by Nathan Rust.

Motion to extend the meeting.

Motion by Dadrius Lanus, second NONE.

Motion fails for a lack of a second.

No vote was taken on the motion or substitute motion to defer the selection of the Superintendent due to adjournment of the meeting.

C. Adjournment

There being no further business, the Board adjourned by acclamation.
