GRANTS

The Superintendent and/or his/her designee is authorized to submit applications for local, state, federal, corporation and foundation grants in keeping with the philosophy of and policy of the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board.  All applications shall be reviewed by the Development Office and the Finance Office.  The Superintendent shall inform the Board prior to the submission of the application as to the amount requested and the purpose to be served, demonstrating compatibility with ongoing programs.  The School Board shall exercise the right to disapprove and withdraw applications if it feels that such applications submitted are not compatible with Board philosophy or policy.
