Letrece Griffin

Chief Officer of Communications and Family Engagement

Ms. Griffin has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a Master of Science in Entertainment Business (with a focus in Marketing). She joined our team in May 2021 as Director of Communications and Public Relations with over 15 years as a marketing and branding professional. During her time with EBRPSS, she has assisted with growing the Communications and Family Engagement Department and cultivating the team that produces districtwide marketing collateral, events and community engagement endeavors. Her first significant effort was the districtwide Back-to-School Bash 2021 at the Raising Cane’s River Center.

Ms. Griffin previously served as the marketing director for Knock Knock Children’s Museum, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations, including developing and increasing awareness for programming and creative content and managing an internship program for which she is lauded as bringing to the museum. 

Her civic engagement and accolades are many and include being a member of the Junior League of Baton Rouge, the Baton Rouge Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and being a charter member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. – Metropolitan Baton Rouge Chapter. Ms. Griffin is a WDIB Marketing Honoree 2022, Book Fest Marketing Honoree 2022, Ada Lovelace Digital Marketing Award Nominee 2021, Baton Rouge Business Report 40 Under 40 Honoree 2019, Top Branding Experts on Twitter Honoree 2014 and more.
