Public Records Request

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System believes in providing access to public records in accordance with Louisiana Public Records Laws.

All public records requests submitted to EBR Schools must be in writing, and submitted in one of the following ways:

  1. Electronically submitted using the Public Records Request Form
  2. By mailing your your written request via United States mail, addressed to:  Office of the General Counsel, 1050 S. Foster Drive, Baton Rouge, LA  70806
  3. By email to:

  5. By submitting your written request in person to the Office of the General Counsel, 1050 S. Foster Drive, Baton Rouge, LA  70806

Charges and Fees

Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statute 44:32 C, the custodian of records for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System is authorized to establish and collect reasonable fees for making copies of public records. Additionally, pursuant to the law, those fees must be paid in advance of production. Please see the fee schedule below:


1-25 $ 1.00
26-500 $   .50
501+ $   .25
Electronic $ 20.00


All persons and entities requesting records are required to sign a register, as indicated in the law, upon personal receipt of requested records.
