Always Reaching for Excellence

Always “reaching for excellence,” the schools vision is to be an A++ school where all stakeholders are engaged in providing a quality education for their children. The Brownfields family is on its way to realizing this vision. Designated by the Louisiana Department of Education as a Top Growth School in 2017 and 2018, the school strives to educate the whole child – academically, socially, and emotionally. Programs include Gifted Classes, Talented arts programs, library, Spanish, music, and physical education. Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) recognizes students exhibiting positive behavior by providing fun activities tied to academics. Chess Club, Girl Scouts, and flag football are also available. Fifth grade students celebrate their completion of elementary school by going on an out-of-state, end-of-year trip to places such as Disney World or Houston.
