2017 EBR Early Childhood Community Network Palooza

EBR Early Childhood Community Network Palooza will be held on January 24, 2017 Woodlawn Middle School (on Tiger Bend Rd)   4pm to 6pm and January  28, 2017 Cortana Mall, 9401 Cortana Place, Baton Rouge, LA  11am to 1pm. Both resource fairs are free and open to parents with young children ranging from birth to 5 years old. The event allows parents to be aware of the various birth to five-year-old programs within the EBR Community Network. Some of the programs include child care centers with a reduce tuition program for qualified parents, Head Start, Early Start, traditional pre-k, gifted pre-k, and pre-k programs for students with special needs.  The Baker pre-k classes and child cares are also included in the network. Community resources including ICARE, Families Helping Families and  health care providers will also be available at the Palooza events.  The purpose of the EBR Community Network is to Make Important Links to Kindergarten (M.I.L.K.), so children will enter kindergarten on time and on level.  The online enrollment period for students in the EBR School System Early Childhood program will be held from February 1 -28, 2017.  Enrollment for all other programs is continuous by applying online at ebrschools.org For more information, contact Shenoa Webb or Patience Travasos.
