Brownfields Elementary Hosts Taste of Louisiana Festival

The third grade teachers and students at Brownfields Elementary are sponsoring a Taste of Louisiana Festival on Friday, May 13th.  The entire school is invited to attend this Festival.  The events and booths on the roster are: Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Louisiana Coast Guard, Native American Representative (Choctaw Tribe), line dancing to Zydeco music, student presentations of their assigned Louisiana festivals, snoballs, face painting, and food.  The students will taste delicious Louisiana fixings including red beans and rice, jambalaya, strawberries, and crawfish.  Taste of Louisiana Flyer
