EBR Schools reopening Plan

Jun. 24 2020

Dear EBR Family,
I wanted to give you the information that we have right now on our plans for re-opening schools in August. We all hope that we can go back to school in person in August but we are prepared to offer some blended opportunities also.  Currently we are in phase 2 of the Governors’ order and hopefully we will be in phase 3 in August.  Our team has done a fantastic job of preparing for every scenario that we could face in August.
I believe there are two things that we have to do extremely well to keep the confidence of you, our families, and our employees.  One is that we have to keep our schools safe. To that end we have upgraded our cleaning processes, ordered the very best sanitizers, and have increased the times we clean each day. Once your children are in our schools we will clean continuously throughout the day. Second, we have to have a virtual learning opportunity for our students. We are building that now and will have this fully up and running in July.  Your children still have their chromebooks at home so please help them continue their learning throughout the Summer.
We look forward to seeing you in August but for now, keep learning, stay safe and enjoy the Summer.  I will keep you updated as we get closer to our opening.  Please see the attached letter with additional information.  Have a great day.
Sincerely,
