Eden Park Teachers to Participate in Team-Building Kayaking Exercise

BATON ROUGE, La. – The faculty of Eden Park ElementarySchool will participate in a unique team-building exercise as a part of their first day activities for the 2015-16 school year. Teachers will be transported to the BREC Greenwood Community Park facility on Tuesday, August 3 where theywill engage in a challenge designed to foster cooperation and teamwork. Principal Karla Johnson says she wanted to do something to encourage her teachers to worktogether and problem solve. Teachers will arrive at the park at 9 a.m. and willbe divided in teams to complete the kayaking challenge. Located at 13350 Hwy.19 in Baker, Greenwood Community Park features an 18-acre lake used for fishing, kayaking and canoeing.
