First day of school in EBR provides a warm welcome for students

The East Baton Rouge Parish public school system resumed classes on Wednesday, August 9, welcoming students to campuses throughout the area.

The turnout included EBRPSS Superintendent  Warren Drake and other administration, City Parish Mayor President, Sharon Weston-Broome,  VIPS volunteers and school partners.
