School Ads To Reflect Nutritional Values

BATON ROUGE – New regulations came today for healthier advertisements on school campuses.

The next step in First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign to fight obesity is to make advertisements at schools follow the school nutrition standards. The new regulations prohibit ads for what’s considered unhealthy foods on school campuses, and affect vending machines, scoreboards, cups, and posters.
