We have a new website! Here are some changes you can expect

Communications Aug. 7 2019

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System has worked tirelessly over the past year to lay out a more user-friendly, updated, and organized website. Many of the pages you are used to seeing are still there for your convenience. However, some of the information may be located in a slightly different place or have a new appearance. We recognize that change is not always easy, but over time we hope that you find the new website much more aesthetically pleasing and easier to navigate.

Here are a few of the changes/new features:

  1. Implemented more security measures and taken steps to become ADA Compliant.
  2. Benefits and Payroll can now be found under Business Operations and Human Resources.
  3. Improved accessibility to School Board information.
  4. Added a “get involved” section to help community members become a part of our story.
  5. Created a landing page for each school.
  6. Added department contacts and frequently visited links and forms on each Department/Program page.
  7. You can now nominate students, staff or parents to be recognized on the website.
  8. Improved our Parents and Staff resources and pages.
  9. Added a Wall of Fame that will feature some of our former graduates.
  10. An updated calendar, blog and news section that we look forward to filling with all of our many great events.

This was a large project and it is likely that a few changes will be needed. To alert our communications team about any changes or typos, please email Communications Director, Taylor Gast at tgast@ebrschools.org.

We look forward to a great school year ahead!
