At Southeast Middle School, we believe in the power of education and the importance of each student’s academic future. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment where our students can not only learn, but also grow as individuals. We offer students the opportunity to earn up to 8 high school credits while they’re enrolled at Southeast middle school. We promote academic excellence to develop students for the next phase of their academic career.
Our social studies curriculum is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the world they live in, and the tools they need to be informed citizens. Through engaging activities and thoughtful discussion, our students will come away with a better understanding of how our society works.
Our classes focus on developing real-world problem-solving skills and helping students develop a passion for science. Our teachers strive to create a learning environment that is engaging and interactive, and our students come away with a greater understanding and appreciation for the sciences.
At Southeast, we believe in the power of math. We strive to provide our students with the best math education possible. Our highly-qualified teachers are dedicated to helping our students understand the fundamentals of math and to develop a passion for learning.
We are dedicated to providing a high-quality education that focuses on the importance of English Language Arts. Our students will learn the skills necessary for success in the 21st century, including the ability to think critically and communicate effectively.
Southeast proudly offers a variety of elective classes that are designed to broaden students’ horizons and foster personal growth. We have something for everyone, whether it’s band, robotics, multimedia production, digital media arts, Spanish, typing, Quest for Success, JAG program, agriculture, choir, or music engineering. Our broad range of classes encourages our students to explore their interests and passions and develop their skills.

Our P.E. program helps to promote physical development, encourage healthy lifestyle habits, and build confidence. We offer a variety of activities, from team sports to individual fitness challenges, to ensure our students are getting the most out of their education.
