Amazing photos from our 2nd annual Literacy on the Lawn! The overall objective of this day is for students to view literacy in another light other than traditional textbook and quiz sessions. We are aiming to increase student exposure and successes with reading. This means we must first instill a love for reading into our students. Scholars had the opportunity to eat their lunch on the lawn and receive books to take home and read! While exploring many stations like poetry preview, independent reading, imagery stations, living literacy and more! Thanks to those who made this day awesome for our scholars!
