EBR Schools is proud to announce the opening of our new Welcome Center, a dedicated space designed to make student enrollment easier, faster, and more convenient for every family.
Whether you are enrolling a student for the first time, registering a current student, or returning to EBR Schools, our Welcome Center offers a simplified, one-stop enrollment experience. Families can complete the registration process in one location and receive personalized support from our knowledgeable staff every step of the way.
The Welcome Center reflects EBR Schools’ commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every family has access to the resources and assistance needed for a successful start to the school year.
We are excited to welcome families during our Soft Opening on August 5th followed by our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 11th.
Beginning August 5th families can visit the Welcome Center to register all of their children in one convenient location while accessing enrollment services and information about programs and resources available to support student success.

Enrollment for all grade levels can be completed in-person at the student’s assigned or zoned school. You can also start the enrollment process online at https://ebr.edgear.net/register.

If available, provide a copy of your student’s social security card to help identify your student.
This is used to identify the parent/guardian and to confirm proof of residency.
Two (2) Current Bills (light, cable/internet, water, lease, agreement, or mortgage statement).
Provide a recent report card if your student is transferring from another school.
Provide a transcript if your student is transferring from another school.
Provide a withdrawal or drop form if your student is transferring from another school.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is advising families that school bus transportation may experience delays during the Friday afternoon commute home because of weather and road conditions across the parish. Transportation staff members are working to safely transport students while navigating possible heavy traffic, flooded areas and impacted roadways caused by
changing weather conditions.
District officials said student safety remains the top priority as drivers continue routes throughout the parish. The district appreciates the understanding and cooperation of families and the community during the weather event.
