Forest Hights Academy of Excellence is a dedicated academic magnet program with integrated visual and performing arts instruction. Our program provides student-centered learning, allowing each student’s individual aesthetic, emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs to be met by our faculty. Our philosophy is to teach children creative approaches to problem solving through cross-curriculum academic and artistic training, giving them the ability to effectively manage and express themselves. An extensive arts curriculum is an integral part of our core curriculum with instruction based on national and state curriculum standards, including dance, vocal and instrumental music, theater and visual art. Each art genre follows a separate integrated curriculum that aligns with students’ mathematical, science, language arts and social studies expectations.
