WE LOVE THE OUTDOORS

We have multiple gardens, an innovative farm-to-table program, and a purple martin sanctuary.

VDR Creative Sciences & Arts Magnet School features an innovative PreK–5th grade STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math) program. The school’s SmartLab allows students in all grades to engage in digital communications, mechanics and structures, robotics, software engineering, 3D printing, sustainability, and more. Our newest campus addition is the Renewable Energy lab where students learn about energy and work to make our school more energy efficient and environmentally conscious. Our outdoor classrooms and school gardens are also an integral part of our students’ education. Students express themselves through the Tigerettes dance team, robotics competition team, 4-H Club, Student Council, Lego Cub, Junior Beta Club, Drama Club, and others.

I am thrilled to welcome you to Villa del Rey Creative Sciences and Arts Magnet School! As the principal, I am deeply committed to creating a school environment where each child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.
At Villa del Rey Creative Sciences and Arts Magnet School, we believe in nurturing not only the academic growth of our students but also their social and emotional development. Our dedicated staff is here to ensure that every child receives a well-rounded education that prepares them for success both inside and outside the classroom.
I am continually amazed by the curiosity and enthusiasm our students bring to school each day. It is truly a privilege to witness their growth and achievements as they progress through their educational journey.
Together with our passionate educators and our supportive community of families, we are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive school culture where every student can thrive.
