Westdale Middle School’s students and staff come from all over the world. Westdale hosts a variety of special programs, including a World Language Immersion Program, a Gifted and Talented Program, a Great Scholars Program, and programs for Exceptional Students. Despite the diversity of our programs, we pride ourselves on being one school where everyone comes together. Academics and diversity are key opportunities that allow our students to take more than 10 different high school credit courses. We have added a service learning component and are studying the question, “What does it mean to be a global citizen?” Our extensive elective offerings include French, Spanish, Mandarin, aquaponics, art, drama, choir, band, strings, robotics, drones, astronomy, forensics, engineering design and computer science.
