We build a better future for our students by allowing them to CREATE

“We build a better future for our students by allowing them to CREATE.”

Administrative Director of Fine Arts, EBRPSS

Fundamentally Focused

The arts – dance, music, theatre arts, and visual arts, are fundamental to the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of Louisiana students in the twenty-first century. The arts draw on a range of intelligence, aesthetics, and learning styles not addressed in most educational environments.

K-12 Fine Arts Education

Students of the arts are encouraged to use their imaginations to develop personal discipline and to find multiple solutions to problems. These students learn to respond to events and experiences with confidence and to communicate their feelings and viewpoints through appropriate creative outlets.

Upcoming Events

Through collaborative projects, students learn to work as a team, embrace diverse perspectives, and build confidence in their abilities to perform in front of an audience.

Media Arts & Digital Media

Media Arts/Digital Media – Our media arts and digital media courses encompass a diverse range of creative disciplines that engage students in the production, analysis, and appreciation of various media forms. This content includes foundational elements of visual arts, film, photography, digital media, and sound design, allowing students to explore both traditional and contemporary artistic practices.
