Bernard Terrace Elementary School has a legacy of educational excellence. Built in 1927, the school is located in the heart of Mid-City and is situated on three picturesque acres. There are two outdoor classrooms and multiple gardens. The school offers a rigorous gifted program at each grade level. Our students have many opportunities, such as band and strings, sports and clubs. We strive to foster positive relationships in which all stakeholders engage, equip and empower our students to become leaders. We offer STEM and hands-on learning opportunities.
Our students develop a curiosity for learning as they discover their unique gifts.
