Just a few miles from Louisiana State University, Highland Elementary boasts one of the most substantial collections of educators and most diverse learning environments in East Baton Rouge. Our goal is to provide a world-class education to each student while providing character development and social and emotional learning opportunities that will help develop the children’s abilities to become successful, contributing members of society. Highland Elementary has been recognized as a Top Gains school in the last four years and is on pace for more success.
