Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet School is a high school preparatory school that focuses on college and career readiness. We provide students with the unique opportunity to build a solid foundation for high school by offering a rigorous, advanced curriculum, with over 10 high school credit courses, including Algebra I and II, geometry, physical science, STEM Pathways, computer science, Spanish I and French I. Sherwood students are offered a wide variety of electives including pre-law, forensics, robotics, coding and video editing. From an award-winning Visual and Performing Arts Department (art, band, choir, orchestra, dance) to our STEAM and academic electives, our students are encouraged to develop artistic and intellectual abilities while discovering their passions.
