Wildwood Elementary School serves more than 500 students each day. Our school enrollment includes gifted, great scholars, ESL and ESS students. We have a vibrant climate and culture that focuses on holistic learning for all students. There is always something happening at Wildwood. Our students are energetic, enthusiastic and eager to learn each day. Our dynamic faculty and staff have the highest expectations for themselves and all students.
Wildwood Elementary School is an incredible environment for learning that fosters an atmosphere of diversity while offering rigorous, engaging instruction. Encouraging creativity and allowing our students to explore their interests outside of the classroom are ideals that we, as a school community, strive to nurture in our students.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is advising families that school bus transportation may experience delays during the Friday afternoon commute home because of weather and road conditions across the parish. Transportation staff members are working to safely transport students while navigating possible heavy traffic, flooded areas and impacted roadways caused by
changing weather conditions.
District officials said student safety remains the top priority as drivers continue routes throughout the parish. The district appreciates the understanding and cooperation of families and the community during the weather event.
