A Back-to-School Pre-Enrollment Event at the Baton Rouge Zoo
Friday, July 19, 2025 | 9 AM – Noon | BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo | Capitol One Pavilion
3000 Zoo Circle, Baker, LA 70714 – through Greenwood Community Park located at 13350 Highway 19, Baker, LA 70714. When you reach the roundabout, take the first exit to enter the zoo at 3000 Zoo Circle.
Get Ready to Roar into the 2025–26 School Year!
We’re bringing the enrollment experience straight to the zoo, with everything you need to register your child for school in one convenient, family-friendly location. Join us for a wild day of family fun, free zoo admission and new student enrollment at the Roar into EBR event!
To be a part of this event, present your child’s enrollment documents at the front gate for free admission for the whole family. You must bring and present one or all of the following for admission:
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Two Proofs of Residence
- Last Report Card (if applicable)
- Withdrawal Letter (if applicable)
- Updated Immunization Record or Exemption Letter
If you already completed your registration online in July, please present this flyer at the front gate.
Included after completing enrollment:
- FREE Admission to the Baton Rouge Zoo for the entire family after completing enrollment
- 1 Free Food Ticket per person
- 1 Free Train Ride Ticket per person
- Face Painting, Inflatables, Animal Ambassadors and Light Refreshments
- Entry to win one of our awesome prize giveaways
