The Division of Ancillary Services at East Baton Rouge Schools (EBR Schools) provides essential support functions that enhance student life and academic success beyond the traditional classroom. This division oversees a wide range of departments, including Accountability and Assessment, which ensures educational standards are met, and Technology, which supports the district’s technological infrastructure. Additionally, it manages Student Support Services, Student Health & Wellness, and Student Activities Services, which collectively promote the holistic development and well-being of students. By managing these diverse services, the division creates a supportive and comprehensive environment for all members of the EBR Schools community.
The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is advising families that school bus transportation may experience delays during the Friday afternoon commute home because of weather and road conditions across the parish. Transportation staff members are working to safely transport students while navigating possible heavy traffic, flooded areas and impacted roadways caused by
changing weather conditions.
District officials said student safety remains the top priority as drivers continue routes throughout the parish. The district appreciates the understanding and cooperation of families and the community during the weather event.
