BATON ROUGE, La. — Get ready for an exciting week of high school basketball as East Baton Rouge Parish Schools proudly hosts the 2025 EBR Schools Girls Basketball Tournament on Nov. 22-25 at Woodlawn High, 15755 Jefferson Highway.
Presented by Mayor Sid Edwards, the tournament will feature a competitive field of 11 teams from across the parish. Participating schools include Belaire, Broadmoor, Capitol, Glen Oaks, Istrouma, Liberty, McKinley, Northeast, Scotlandville, Tara High and Woodlawn.
The top three seeds heading into this year’s tournament are No. 1 Woodlawn, followed by Liberty and Glen Oaks.
Opening Day Matchups
- Tara vs. Capitol, 3 p.m.
- McKinley vs. Broadmoor, 4:30 p.m.
- Northeast vs. Belaire, 6 p.m.

In addition, the boys basketball tournament will be held played Dec. 26–29 at Baton Rouge Community College.
