Thirty-six and perfect.
Eight Baton Rouge Magnet High School students received a perfect score of 36 on the ACT during the 2025-26 testing year. Only about 3,000 (0.2%) of the 1.4 million students who take the ACT nationwide each year earn a perfect composite score of 36, according to the ACT National Profile Report.
“We are immensely proud of these eight students for achieving a perfect composite score on the ACT,” said Baton Rouge High Principal Nanette McCann. “Scoring a 36 is an extraordinary feat that speaks volumes about their relentless dedication, intellectual curiosity, and hard work. This accomplishment not only highlights their individual academic excellence but also reflects the exceptional culture of learning and support fostered by our dedicated faculty and families.”
