The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is proud to announce that Mayfair Laboratory School has been named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.
This prestigious recognition is the highest national honor a school can receive, celebrating academic excellence, dedication to closing achievement gaps and the exceptional leadership and commitment demonstrated by educators, students and staff.
“Mayfair Laboratory School owes its success to the strong commitment of the entire Mayfair Lab family, which includes faculty, students, parents and community partners. Mayfair Lab’s strong academic achievements are a result of our dedicated teachers, rigorous curriculum and dual teacher model. we are proud and ready to celebrate!” said Principal Kyle Fontenette. A formal celebration will take place on Friday, October 4, at Mayfair Lab.
