Subaru gives Shenandoah Elementary $10,000 to cover school supplies for students

Teachers at Shenandoah Elementary got a Subaru surprise to start the school year on Aug. 5. Baton Rouge car dealership Subaru donated $10,000 to the school through the Subaru Loves Learning and AdoptAClassroom.org.  🎉📚

Principal Elizabeth Callegan surprised 33 homeroom teachers with about $300 each to purchase classroom supplies.

Transportation staff members are working to safely transport students while navigating possible heavy traffic, flooded areas and impacted roadways caused by
changing weather conditions.
