EBRPSS TRANSITIONS TO SUMMER WORK SCHEDULE 

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System has transitioned to a summer schedule through July 29. 

The summer schedule went into effect May 23 to comply with the School Board-approved Energy Management-Conservation Program.  

All EPRSS offices and school sites will be open to the public from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Facilities will be closed on Friday. Offices will also be closed Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day, and Monday, July 4, for the holiday. 

Employees will work the 10-hour days Monday through Thursday for a full 40-hour workweek. Employees will resume regular hours on Aug. 1.
