I’ve walked the halls of EBR Schools as a student, and now I proudly serve behind the scenes, helping tell our story. My journey began at BRCVPA, continued through Sherwood Middle, and truly came into focus at McKinley Senior High School. The school didn’t just educate me—it shaped me. I was surrounded by a powerful sense of pride, tradition, and resilience. The energy was contagious and I knew: I had to come back.
That dream became reality when I joined the Communications Team at EBR Schools as a graphic designer. It was a full-circle moment, serving the same system that poured so much into me. Even if I’m behind a camera or working on a video, I know I’m contributing to something bigger: lifting up our public schools, telling real stories, and showing the brilliance inside every building.
I’ve seen firsthand the strength and flexibility of our educators and students. I’ve reconnected with former teachers—not just as mentors, but now as collaborators. I’ve found myself growing alongside leaders who value creativity and embrace bold new ideas. Whether I’m stepping into a classroom or walking into our office, I’m reminded daily why I do this work. I’m honored to help shape the narrative of a school system that continues to give so much to so many—including me.
I wouldn’t want it any other way.
