Students showcased their talents with a vibrant program of music, dance, and a fall art exhibit honoring Hispanic heritage and culture. The school also announced Elementary and Middle School Teachers of the Year during the program. 🎨💃
The day also featured "Throwback Thursday" as part of Homecoming Spirit Week, bringing fun, fashion and school pride to life!

🎖️👏 Salute to Cadet 2nd Lt. Serenity Smith of Scotlandville High, who led the Pledge of Allegiance to open Thursday`s School Board meeting. She was accompanied by Scotlandville Army instructor Sgt. 1st Class Tydas Blue (retired). Serenity is a sophomore in the JROTC program, serving on the JROTC battalion staff as S-2 intelligence and security officer. She is a member of the Color Guard drill team and the Hornet Battalion`s saber team. She has been selected as the Hornet Battalion`s LET (leadership, education, training) I Cadet of the Year. Serenity maintains a 4.0 GPA. She`s a member of the girls basketball team, serves as a magnet ambassador and was elected Scotlandville`s 2025-26 Miss Sophomore. She plans to attend Southern University to pursue nursing with dreams of becoming a pediatrician.
