Naqeeb Mohammad Hossain, the 12-year-old who just completed the sixth grade at Glasgow Middle School, will be participating in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which is set for Tuesday through Thursday in National Harbor, Maryland.
Naqeeb won the school, district and regional spelling bee competitions to join 242 other champions from across the country at the prestigious national meet.
The 2025 broadcast/livestream of the onstage competition follows this schedule (end times
approximate):
• The preliminaries will be streamed on Bounce XL, Grit Xtra, Laff More and spellingbee.com from 7 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27.
