🎨 🎨 Congratulations to Glasgow Middle’s Aanya Jain and Arlington Prep’s Xzavier Thomas for being recognized on Wednesday during the 2025 GOLD (Governor’s Outstanding Leadership in Disabilities) Awards at the Old State Capitol.
Aanya earned second place in the seventh-grade inclusive art contest, and Xzavier received an honorable mention in the high school category.
The ceremony was presented by the Governor’s Office of Disability Affairs. 🌟🌟

Belaire High seniors are among those working hard to meet upcoming college scholarship deadlines. The Baton Rouge Youth Coalition is supporting their efforts and those of others by hosting a College Application Party with real-time assistance for applications, scholarships, transfers and more.

Each student was treated to a meal, games and a $400 shopping experience.
