Schools to get barricades to help protect classrooms from active shooters

What an exciting STEM night at Westdale! We gasped at experiments that went "boom!", explored swamp life, and got hands-on with Liberty Magnet's Robotics team. We even learned how teamwork and engineering create race cars with LSU TigerRacing. A night full of curiosity, 
creativity, and fun!

Jamie Quincy is an 8th grade ELA teacher at Scotlandville Pre-Engineering Magnet Academy! In her first year at SPEMA and with 16 years in education, all with EBR, she loves working with students and seeing those moments when everything clicks. She enjoys being an inspiration, helping students recognize their opportunities, and preparing them for high school and the real world while showing them that someone outside of their home truly cares.
