Erica Courtney is a fifth-grade ELA teacher at Progress Elementary! With 12 years at Progress and 25 years in education overall, including 19 with EBR, she loves watching students grow as readers and writers and seeing their excitement for ELA come to life. She believes children are the future, is proud to be part of EBR Schools, and also organizes student haircuts at Progress in collaboration with Ray J’s College of Hair.

Highland Elementary and Sonic on Perkins collaborated with the debut of the school’s very own signature drink, the Roaring Tiger.

Highland ES is the first and only school to have a signature drink with Sonic. Even better, 10 percent of the proceeds from every Roaring Tiger sold go directly back to support the school. This partnership highlights school pride, community support, and creative ways to give back.

Mary Legoria is a Magnet Science Specialist at WHAM! With 23 years at WHAM and 36 years in education, all with EBR, she believes it is important to teach students to care for the earth, understanding that a love for animals and plant life comes full circle. She loves seeing the joy and pride students feel when they grow a plant and considers it her mission to teach compassion that carries into everyday life. She also shares a deep love for WHAM, where her passions are supported.
