Seven EBR Schools Awarded Grants for Safety, Security Upgrades

With six years at Brownfields and 28 years in education, all with EBR, she treasures reconnecting with former students who share updates about their lives, careers, and successes. She takes great pride in knowing she played a role in their journeys and believes it is important to help students achieve their dreams by giving them the space to explore new ideas and create their own visions for the future.

It was an incredible Media Arts Day! Middle and high school media teams spent time at Southern University last Friday, working through the media production process.  Under the guidance of Southern teachers and industry professionals, students engaged in hands-on work in film, photography, podcasting, and audio production. EBR. Laterica Wright is a kindergarten teacher at Parkview Elementary!  In her first year as a classroom teacher after serving as a paraprofessional, she has 9 years at Parkview and 14 years of experience with EBR. She believes every child is unique and needs guidance in both life skills and classroom learning. She loves being her authentic self with students, making real-life connections through the curriculum, showing that education can be fun, and serving as a positive role model when students are away from their parents.
