EBR Schools Superintendent LaMont Cole welcomed leaders from the Louisiana Department of Education and superintendents from across the state to a collaborative workshop with representatives from the Zearn math learning platform on Tuesday at the Professional Development Center. The Baton Rouge Magnet orchestra provided outstanding special music for the LDOE-sponsored event.

EBR Schools is proud to partner once again with the Good Fellows–Good Samaritans organization to help brighten the holidays for families across our district. On Tuesday, elementary school counselors collected coats, toys and other holiday gifts donated through the Good Fellows–Good Samaritans program. The items will be delivered to students whose families signed up through their schools, ensuring children have warmth, joy and something special to open this season.

🏆 Hang another banner in the Woodlawn High rafters — and add a trophy. The host and undefeated Lady Panthers (6-0) clinched their second-straight EBR Parish Girls Basketball Tournament title with a narrow 41–40 win over Liberty on Wednesday.
Woodlawn also claimed the inaugural traveling trophy, which will now reside each year at the home of the champion.
A huge thank you to all 11 participating schools, the volunteers and the community for making this one of the best girls tournaments yet.
