Due to impending freezing temperatures and the possibility of icy and hazardous roadways, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System will delay the start time of operations for students and staff on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. All staff is asked to report to their respective work locations two hours after the normal start time. School start times will be delayed three hours after their regular start times.
Delaying the start of school and work will ensure our school community can travel safely Friday morning. This decision has been made with the support and advisement of our partners at the Mayor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency and under the guidance of the National Weather Service.
