Tonight, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System will hold a “State of the Schools” address featuring Superintendent Sito Narcisse to be held at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum.
This event will provide an opportunity to hear from Dr. Narcisse about the current school year’s state of affairs along with updates on district initiatives, programming and future plans. The event will also highlight EBR Schools’ students, teachers and community partners.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our #ebrpss Back to School Bash today! We had such a great time with everyone gearing up for the school year!
School starts on Monday, Aug. 8, and we made sure that students were prepared to go back to school. We had food, backpacks and supplies to give away, as well as information that'll have students ready for the school year!
We also had schools, vendors and sponsors at the Raising Cane's River Center providing information and guidance to parents in the community.

These educators will be teaching third to eighth graders in schools such as Westdale Middle School and BR FLAIM.
