The Joe Burrow Foundation — founded by the former LSU and current Cincinnati Bengals quarterback — hosted a “Christmas Give” on Tuesday at Highland Elementary. The foundation provided 200 food boxes, complete with all the fixings for a healthy, hearty Christmas meal, to identified students and families.
Special thanks to the Joe Burrow Foundation, Associated Grocers and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for supporting our EBR Schools community.

🎄✨ McKinley Elementary shined brightly at this year’s Christmas program!
Students lit up the stage with joyful musical performances, energetic dances, and a festive story that showcased their incredible talent and hard work. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity, teamwork and holiday spirit!
🚂❄️ Southdowns Pre-K Center brought the magic to life with their Polar Express Pajama Party! Our youngest learners arrived in cozy PJs, enjoyed a delightful train ride and spent the day filled with excitement and wonder.
We loved seeing their joy throughout this special holiday experience!
🎄🚌 The "Superintendent’s Sleigh" rolled through our schools on Monday, spreading holiday cheer. Superintendent LaMont Cole and district leaders traveled by bus to 14 schools, surprising staff with gifts and festive spirit.

Williams has been a dedicated counselor at Capitol High for two years. She brings 19 years of experience in education to the role. Williams loves molding and shaping students and the ability to change their mindsets and perspectives, so they think about where they are going.
