🎁✨ Gifts rolled in this week through the Adopt an Elf program. Hundreds of generous community members stepped up to "adopt" a student in need, selected gifts from their wish list and dropped them off at the Broadmoor Elementary collection site.
The gifts will be delivered to students next week, spreading warmth, joy, and holiday cheer across our district.

QuestBridge National College Match connects high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to the nation’s top colleges. Scholarship recipients receive early admission and a full four-year scholarship to a QuestBridge college partner, ensuring that these students and their families have access to an affordable education at a top college. The Match Scholarship provided by the school comprises a generous financial aid package that covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing, food, books and supplies and travel expenses.

Employee Spotlight | Kerry Malter
Malter is a library media specialist, site tech facilitator and PTO president at LaSalle. She has been in education for 24 years, including 12 years in EBR and five years at LaSalle. Malter loves encouraging independence and finds it amazing to see the students` accomplishments throughout the year. She looks forward to coming to work each day and says that LaSalle is a "hidden gem" in the district, one that truly values positive attitudes and doing things for the right reasons.

This holiday classic is directed by Baton Rouge Magnet High`s talented drama teacher, Joni Duhe. The show poster was designed by McKinley Middle talented drama teacher Shane Stewart. 🎄
